Text Message
This is the least desired method of communication. There are multiple reasons why we would prefer that text messages be avoided and to be used only as a last resort:
- We are required to archive every single text message that we receive. (compliance nightmare)
- Most issues we deal with are very complex
- It is very difficult to maintain a quality paper trail with text messages
- They can be accidentally deleted and not recovered
- And, NO, there is no such thing as “I have a quick question…”
Please only use text messages if you have a very short question or answer (“We are running late”) and only if it is not investment or tax related.
E-Mail/Phone
By far the most desirable method to communicate with us, and opposite all the reasons listed above.
E-mail is best.
First point of contact is usually Kelly.
[email protected] / (661) 775-3704
Kelly can help with almost all account questions or issues:
- Distribution forms
- Transfers
- General service issues like Change of Address or beneficiary updates
- Log in issues
- Just about anything else related to your account
John should be contacted for any “advice” questions:
- Roth conversions
- Tax planning
- Portfolio design
- Insurance planning
- Estate planning
- Retirement planning
- Guardrails and Distribution planning
- Just about anything else related to your long term planning needs
We love talking to our clients!
However, playing “phone tag” can be annoying. Inbound, unscheduled phone calls can present a challenge for a small office that prides itself on concentration, focus and high quality advice. Therefore, we encourage you to use our scheduler to find a time that nicely fits into everyone’s schedule. This also assures that John is prepared for your question and he can provide you with the answers you need, when you need it.
Simply go to www.mearsmoney.com and click on the “Schedule Time” button.
